Mat shares his NHS memories

Matt talks about being a blood donor.

I started donating blood at 18, when my Dad, who also donated at the time, took me to a blood donor session. So, now 83 donor visits later, I still attend, doing four sessions a year.

I have also previously spent a year and a half as a platelets donor, but this can’t be done as well as being a blood donor sadly. There is a demand for blood so I have no problem doing this, just doing my bit.
