Pyramid Stage. Glastonbury Festival, Saturday 24 June, 5.30 pm
On Wednesday 5 July, the NHS is celebrating a big birthday – we’re going to be an amazing 75 years old.
To help us celebrate Glastonbury Festival style. Glastonbury Festival have kindly asked us to create a special moment on the main Pyramid Stage on Saturday 24 June at 5.30 pm. Former Bristol Laureate poet Miles Chambers will be performing a poem he has written for us.
This will be accompanied by a film with NHS highlights over our 75-year history.
Joining Miles on stage to help recite the poem and to represent our 1.26 million NHS staff in England will be our Glastonbury GP Rebecca Hall, Ben Matthews a physiotherapist and Angela Reece, a nurse for children looked after from our NHS Somerset family on the Pyramid Stage at 5.30 pm (approx.) on Saturday 24 June.
